This was the ‘project in between projects’ for 2021.

Firstly, my old Ludwig Acrolite. The snare strainer was a bit janky so I ordered a new one from INDe Drum Lab - unfortunately when it arrived I found out that the drum had been drilled off centre in the factory so Josh sent me some spacers to let it sit above the bead. I went cheap on postage so I had to wait months for USPS to deliver them.

Secondly, while I had an order in with drumfactorydirect.com for the parts for my cocktail kit (waiting on custom shells currently) I put in an order for a nickel over brass snare shell. Had to drill for the strainer and vent myself, which was nerve-wracking. I put an Inde strainer and butt plate on this one and added some subtle bling with some Hendrix Drums red washers from Crash Boom Bam
